It is organised by Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) in association with the International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) at its Regional Agriculture Research Station (RARS), Ambalavayal, in Wayanad. The dates are announced a few months before the event. It is the biggest flower show in the State with a rose garden set up on hectares of land with 1,800 odd varieties of plants, including around 500 varieties of new plants imported from foreign countries in around 300 stalls and pavilions of institutions such as the Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University and Krishi Vijnan Kendras. The garden and the office of RARS are permanent establishments in their own property. One can visit the garden and the sales counter of Samrudhi Weekly Market any time of the year and purchase seeds, vegetables, agricultural tools etc. The flowers for the show are grown in their own garden. Throughout the year garden plants are taken care of and to showcase flowers during the festival in January National Above 5,00,000 RELEVANCE- NO. OF PEOPLE (Local / National / International) PARTICIPATED EVENTS/PROGRAMS DESCRIPTION (How festival is celebrated) Around 200 to 300 stalls with different varieties of plants and Floriculture trees are present. Classes, Seminars and interactive Horticulture sessions for facilitating knowledge sharing among farmers, Symposiums entrepreneurs and scientists are organized along with the Classes festival. The exhibition showcases modern technologies in Cultural Programs floriculture and horticulture, facilitating knowledge sharing Polyhouses among entrepreneurs, scientists and international experts. Rainwater Harvest Flowers and ornamental plants brought from other states Exhibits and imported from other countries are retained and Food Courts multiplied to disburse to local farmers and horticulture Fair & Game Zones enthusiasts. .
