OYCE Audition Packet 2019-2020 Audition Guidelines *This audition is for placement into the individual ensembles not for entry. OYCE firmly believes that no student regardless of ability should be turned away. We strive to place students in a positive environment where they can succeed and grow as musicians. *Play to the best of your ability we are interested in knowing where you are, play what you can. *Please submit all video submissions to [email protected] and add your name and ensemble to the subject line of the email. * Auditions will only be accepted as YouTube links sent to the appropriate email address. Bass, alto, Bb, Contra) Members might be asked to play a different clarinet to fill the needs of the ensemble, but we will do our best to accommodate all member request Orlando Youth Honor Clarinet Choir Rules This year we will feature an audition only clarinet choir in addition to the main clarinet choir. This ensemble will be a “one to a part” ensemble with a higher degree of difficulty. This is in addition to, not in replacement of so all members that make this ensemble will need to participate in the main clarinet choir. This ensemble rehearses one hour prior to clarinet OYCC rehearsals. There is no additional cost to participate in the honors ensemble. Members may play a different clarinet in the honors ensemble than the main ensemble. This ensemble will reQuire additional performances. The honors portion of the audition is not mandatory for all members but reQuired to participate in the honors choir. The honors clarinet choir will have 1 Eb Clarinet, 6 Bb Clarinets, 1 Alto Clarinet, 1 Bass Clarinet, 1 Contra-Alto Clarinet, 1 Contrabass Clarinet.
