The register dates from Ness wapentake, Bourn petty sessional division, Stamford the year 1726. The church of St. Martin net yearly value £135, including 70 acres of glebe, with is a small and very ancient edifice of stone, in the Norman residence, in the gift of the governors of Oakham and Up· and Transition styles, consisting of chancel, nave, north aisle, pingham schools, and held since 1876 by the Rev.
