Catalog Course Description: This course is an introduction to programming using a structured high-level language. Students will write and debug their own programs in a sequence that culminates in major design project. Pre-Requisites: MAT 2680, CET3510, EMT 2410 or CST 2403 Co-Requisites: None Textbook: A textbook is not required. Other supplemental materials: Notes provided by instructor. Course learning outcomes: The objective of this course is to research, and present solutions related to the emerging software technological developments. For their projects, students will research on key software technology trends - then, design, develop and implement their ideas with a practical implementation solution in mind using different platforms. At course termination, a student should have among other things: 1. Explored algorithms, data structures and programming solutions based on their current background level and future interests. 2. Researched on key software technology trends, designed, developed and implemented their ideas with practical implementation solution in mind using different platforms. 3.
