Acknowledging that opportunities to perform in collaboration with popular commercial artists requires a shorter planning window, the Company allocates a percentage of available orchestral playing time to these projects. This work is undertaken either with the Sydney Symphony taking the role of presenter or as a ‘band for hire’.
