Prices of rice declined by PhP 1.00 per kilogram in Batangas City, Cebu City, and Butuan City during the week. Meanwhile, price mark-ups, ranging from PhP 1.00 to PhP 4.00 per kilogram of rice, were recorded in Cagayan de Oro City. (Table 1) 2. Price of a kilogram of beef dropped by PhP 10.00 in Cagayan de Oro City, while price of pork went down by PhP 5.00 in the National Capital Region (NCR), and by PhP 10.00 in Butuan City during the period. (Table 2) 3. A kilogram of galunggong went down by PhP 10.00 in Baguio City, Batangas City, and Cagayan de Oro City, and by PhP 40.00 in Kidapawan City this week. (Table 3) 4. Varied price movements in vegetables were noted in many regional centers during the period. (Table 4) 5. Price increases, ranging from PhP 10.00 to PhP 40.00, per kilogram of red onion were posted in seven regional centers during the week. (Table 5) 6. A kilogram of carabao mango went up by PhP 10.00 to PhP 30.00 in four regional centers during the week. However, it was priced lower by PhP 10.00 per kilogram in Batangas City, and by PhP 20.00 per kilogram in Butuan City. (Table 6) 7.
