Staying at Casa Nobile is an entree to the true Italian lifestyle of ages past. Upon entering Casa Nobile, you will find the elegant foyer, with a writing/reception desk and walls painted in frescoes dating back 3 centuries. The next area you encounter down a long hallway is the dining area that hosts a charming sunken dining room and massive stone fireplace. The adjoining kitchen is quaint and cozy. There are 2 full bathrooms off the main hallway. Further on is the formal living room, furnished with Murano lamps, antique sofas and armchairs, an 1800‘s fireplace and a lifetime collection of the owners paintings, books and art. Adjoining the living room is a master bedroom, with large windows opening out on to the bustling commercial street of Via Benedetti below. This room was formally the library of the owner, a renowned Florentine architect. Both the living room and the adjoining bedroom have extremely high ceilings, hand painted with decorative frescoes that date back to the Renaissance. The rooms are luminous and airy. Lastly, the second master bedroom is tucked away off the living room down another corridor. It is a cozy little nest that is simple and calming.
