Wood (fimber) joined the Surrey Constabulary in 1951 and became part of the Dog Section in 1955. The fore runner of this event t was the annual match held between N.A.T.S. and S.A.T.S., the schedule of which was a blend of obedience and working trial tests. A tradition that is continued in the current schedule. The League are to be commended •• for continuing their support of this event and, in doing so, encouraging contact between the "beauty" and the "working" side of the breed.
