Choose your film yourself—you’re the one who’s going -Confidentially yours (mystery,danger,romance,rain) to watch it! -8 femmes (8 FABULOUS French actresses, 1 dead man!) 2. Recommend your favorite films to me. -Ne le dis à personne (dead wife emails husband…) 3. Be sure your film has subtitles!! Dubbed films aren’t acceptable, and -Roman de gare (suspense every second & minute!) you won’t understand a film WITHOUT subtitles! -Man on wire (doc on tightrope walker-won an Oscar) 4. Pay attention to cultural differences, if your film takes place in -Le salaire de la peur (Will OLD truck carrying TNT make it?) relatively modern times—what, where, when they eat, where they -Elevator to the gallows (100% suspense + Miles Davis score) hang out, how they get around, how their houses look, what they wear, forms of politeness, etc. Films historiques /Action 5.
