DOUGLAS YOUNG, George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Governor. Colony of the Falkland Islands and its Dependencies. In pursuance of instructions received from the Right Honourable the Secretary of State for the Colonies I hereby proclaim that His Majesty the King will not be advised to exercise his powers of disallowance in respect of the following Ordinances:— F No. 2 of 1917, entitled “An Ordinance to appropriate certain further sums of money for the use of the Public Service of the Colony for the year ended on the 31st day of December, 1916”, : e No. 4 of 1917, entitled “An Ordinance to provide further for the maintenance of discipline on board Transports”. Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony at Government House, Stanley, this 4 ~ fourth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen. / By Command, C.
