BALL STATE VOLLEYBALL STATISTICAL LEADERS While she only played two seasons at Ball State, Amanda McCormick made a huge impact in the Ball State record book, setting seven school records from 2005-06. McCormick fi nished her senior season with an NCAA record 7.68 digs-per-game average, topping the previous mark of 7.02. The fi rst player in school history to earn National Player of the Week accolades, McCormick was the 2006 CVU.com National Libero of the Year. Ball State is the home of the Mid- American Conference’s career statistical leaders in assists, kills and digs. Emily Sallee (left) fi nished her career with 6,408 assists from 1997-2000. Stephanie Keller (middle) collected 2,273 digs for Ball State from 2001-04. Sarah Obras (right) smashed 1,975 kills in her BSU career, which spanned from 2002-05. Sallee’s assist total and Keller’s dig total still rank in the top 10 in NCAA history. BALL STATE VOLLEYBALL LEADERS IN THE MAC Karen Granning was the fi rst All-Mid-American Conference First Team honoree in program history, claiming the award in 1980 and again in 1982. Overall, BSU players have earned All-MAC First Team accolades a total of 28 times. BSU’s 69 All-MAC selections and 28 All-MAC First Team selections rank second in league annals. April Hoeltke was the fi rst Mid-American Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player in program history, claiming the award in 1992.
