Scouts n'Snowflakes Role Playing Game Mary Sue/Highschool/Scouts Sues=Player Characters Deus Ex Machina points= Gamechangers Snowflake points= Charactrer Creation points. Munchkins= Scouts. Popularity=Hit points. A Sue never dies, but sometimes becomes unloved(by the audience) Degrees of Success(DoS) A Sue gets 3 scouts for their troop. Each scout has a postive and negative trait. Some scouts can have more than one depending on the roll. D20, a Sue has little chance to fail but has much more varying degrees of success. It is neither a roll under system nor a roll over one. It is a roll away from system. A Sue's standard DC is 10. Rolling a 1 is 5 degrees of success as is rolling a 20. Rolling a 10 is a A FAILURE. HOW COULD A SUE FAIL? Scouts are not Mary Sue so they roll a normal 1d20 with the DC set via the situation. Sue's get 1d4 snowflake points. Sue's get 8 minus the snowflake points as Extra Deux Ex Machina points. So if a Sue rolled 5 and got 5 Snowflake points they get 5-8=3 Extra Deus Ex Machina points. Creating a Mary Sue. Woeth be he or she that unknowingly maketh a Mary Sueth. -Anon A Mary Sue may have 1 free positive trait and 1 psuedo-negative trait as a starting point. To purchase any extra trait a Sue must spend one snowflake point. Sue’s do not get to decide their starting traits and must roll 2d4 to determine negative and positive traits Positive Traits: -There’s are reasons why we love Sue, and here are the reasons why- Loved by all(+) -This Sue regains 5 popularity back per night and if an extra snowflake point is spent on this gains an extra 1d4 popularity back per night- so thats 5+1d4 if an extra point is spent Mature for her age -This Sue is perfect at dealing with adults and takes half popularity damage when dealing with adults in a positive way- Mein Scout Kommander! -This Sue is unfailing in their extra curricular activity and therefore any use of their Munchkins gains a -2/+2 buff to rolls respectively.(To allocate on their dice to get further away from 10 and add to the value of success) Multi-tasker -This Sue can take a double action during their free time phase(night time)- Note: Some Sue are more Mary than others, this is all part of the game of being inferior to someone else. A Sue must attend school and it’s classes during the morning, run a scout troupe in the afternoon and gets a free activity during the night. School phase Roll a 1d10 to determine what happens during a school phase (1.) School fire drill, nothing gets accomplished during that day Sues roll 1d20 to determine how many people went back inside to look for them. 1 degree of success= 20percent of the school 5 degrees of success= 100 percent of the school no success =Sue takes 20x the total of the degrees of success of the other players in popularity damage.
