SHA ‘84 As an International Baccalaureate (IB) campus, Sacred Heart Schools is providing innovative, 21st century learning that is forward-thinking, Secretary future-looking and globally focused. Our IB classrooms are student-centered and promote collaboration, communication, critical thinking and Terri Holloway Sautel, creativity. At Sacred Heart Schools, we are making connections, exploring relationships between academic disciplines and connecting learning to SHA ‘86 the world outside our walls. Mary Ashlock, PhD We closed out an amazing year in a position of strength and are looking to a prosperous future with highest-ever enrollment, financial stability and several exciting projects in progress and on the horizon. With confidence in the future, though bittersweet, I announced my plan to retire as Scott Catlett, JD President of Sacred Heart Schools next June. Gregory Daunhauer During my time here we have streamlined the unification of five schools into one collaborative school district, constructed numerous innovative Joseph Dougherty buildings including the Sacred Heart Model School Gym and the Ursuline Arts Center, redesigned and built the campus grotto, and most recently, partnered with the Ursuline Sisters on the transfer of all Ursuline campus property from the Sisters to Sacred Heart Schools. Jo Ann Jansing, OSU Su Kang, DDS Sacred Heart Schools’ campus endowment grew from $2 million to $15 million, ensuring an Ursuline education is a reality for generations of future students and the legacy of the Ursuline Sisters continues. Paula Kleine-Kracht, OSU, SHA ‘64 Together we transformed Sacred Heart Schools to an International Baccalaureate (IB) world school district. What began with Sacred Heart Beth Carney Klem, SHA ‘85 Academy’s IB World School status in 1997 has blossomed into a campus-wide educational approach to teaching and learning that is Mark Lynn, OD internationally recognized and benefits all students.
