15½" INSTRUCTIONS: Bow Tie SUPPLIES: • Light to medium-bodied fabric with matching thread. We used 6" raw silk because we wanted it to have a bit of sheen. • ¼" wide matching grosgrain ribbon, to fit a little boy’s neck straight grain circumference plus about 2" • Beginner Sewing Skills 3" Following our pattern, cut a piece of 15½" x 6" fabric ON THE BIAS. (This is important.) Cut another piece 2" x 3" ALSO ON 2" straight THE BIAS. grain All seams are scant ¼" 1 Cut out pattern pieces. Be SURE to cut the 6 Fold the other end to match.
