OPEN ACCOUNTS To establish credit with us, please fill out our Customer Information Form (CIF). The CIF is available on our website at ca. larsonjuhl.com/Order-Online/Become-A-Customer. You may also request a CIF via email from NewAccountSetup@ larsonjuhl.com or by calling the Credit Department at 800-833-0218. You will be notified in writing of the results of the application for an open account within 3 business days from our receipt. PAYMENT TERMS AND CASH DISCOUNTS On open accounts – terms are net 30 days. Please note the following: • A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be added to all past due accounts. • We do not accept cash. CREDIT CARDS We accept Visa and Mastercard. SHIPMENTS Our goal is to ship your purchases in the most efficient and economical way possible. Unless you request another method, we will ship your order from your local Larson-Juhl full-service centre. LARSON-JUHL DELIVERY SERVICE Larson-Juhl offers delivery in many regions across the country. In those areas where local delivery is available, we encourage a minimum of $50 per shipment. COMMON CARRIER When located in an area where Larson-Juhl does not offer delivery, common carrier services will be used. Our goal is to ship your purchases in the most efficient and economical way possible. Please note: Oversized pieces will incur an additional special handling fee on top of the regular freight charges. These would be identified as weighing more than 70lbs. (approx. 32kg), are equal to or exceed 4ft. (approx. 121cm) in length, or are equal to or exceed a total overall piece size of 108” (approx. 274cm). PREPAID DELIVERY Orders totalling $800.00 or more (excluding glass, equipment and oversize items) will be shipped prepaid by common carrier for customers not on our regular delivery schedules. Some remote areas may be exempt from prepaid shipping. SHIPPING DAMAGE We take care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive on time and in excellent condition. Occasionally, however, material can be damaged in shipment. If you receive damaged material, save the original merchandise and packaging for inspection and for filing a claim. If you receive a damaged shipment, have the driver inspect the damaged package and note damages on the freight bill. Then immediately request an inspection by the carrier. Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage by freight carriers. INSURANCE The utmost care is taken with articles in our possession. We advise you to contact your insurance agent to investigate your liability for works in our possession and/or in transit. A floater policy for fire, theft and damage is suggested. Larson-Juhl is not responsible for articles left with us, and all work performed on customer’s property is done at the customer’s own risk. Prices are subject to change or withdrawal without prior notice. On request, we will be pleased to quote current prices before shipping. LENGTH MOULDING Our length moulding is sold in full lengths only. Our moulding department will always endeavour to ship, from our full length inventory, as close to the ordered quantity as possible, but never less than the amount requested. VARIANCES Since paints and materials used for our products may vary or change, frames or mouldings will not be replaced for minor variations in colour and profile shape. Larson-Juhl reserves the right to discontinue and/or change items without prior notice. WOOD MOULDING PRICE LIST Kindly check your corner sample numbers against the moulding price list. All items not listed have been discontinued and are no longer available. Frame Code numbers are not directly related to moulding prices per foot. WHOLESALE FRAME/CHOP PRICE LIST Joined frames ordered from our Wood Wholesale Frame Price List are subject to the following quantity discounts (Arqadia Choice does not qualify): Wood: 10% discount for 6-10 assorted 15% discount for 11+ assorted 30% discount for 10-24 same moulding, same size 40% discount for 25-50 same moulding, same size Chop prices and quantity discounts are also based on the Wholesale Frame Price List as follows: 15% discount for 1-5 assorted (wood) 28% discount for 10-24 same moulding, same size (metal) 20% discount for 6+ assorted (wood) 34% discount for 25-50 same moulding, same size (metal) For special quotations on larger quantities, please contact your Sales Representative. There is a 6" minimum on chopped frames. To arrive at the cost of any empty made-up frame, determine the price code number which is located on the Wholesale Frame Price List. Then determine the united inches of the picture to be framed: e.g. 16" x 20" = 36 united inches. Locate this in the horizontal line running from left to right at the top of the sheet. Follow the 36 united inches column down the sheet until you meet the code number line coming across the sheet from your left. This is your wholesale price. Should it be odd united inches – between 12 to 44 united inches allow 1/2" before going to the next higher (e.g. 8-1/2" x 10" = 18-1/2", use the 18 united inches); 48 to 72 united inches allow 1" before going to the next higher (e.g. 24-1/4" x 36-3/4" = 61" use 60 united inches); from 78 united inches up allow 2" before going to next higher (e.g. 36-3/4" x 48-3/4" = 85-1/2", use 84 united inches). These discounts apply to wood only. WHEN FRAMING A CANVAS You don’t have to give us any different or additional information when you’re ordering a chop for a canvas. Just be sure that you precisely measure the canvas on all four sides. If one side is slightly larger, give us that measurement so we can cut the frame large enough to fit around the canvas. 4 ■ LJ PRICE LIST ■ CANADA Order Online: shop.larsonjuhl.com GENERAL INFORMATION FITTING SERVICES • Fitting services invoiced under item #15700 (custom framing work) where work orders are processed with artwork are eligible for Length Moulding Pricing Tier discounts. Along with our wide variety of products, Larson-Juhl offers its wholesale customers being served by the Toronto and Vancouver distribution centres a custom fitting service. This service is intended for use by framers, photographers and galleries who: • require design consultation or technical assistance ORDERING MOULDING • lack equipment or expertise to complete specialized orders • have space or manpower limitations to complete production fitting jobs • lack time to complete orders to meet customer demands. This custom service includes matting, laminating, glass, mounting, stretching, fitting and assembly. Our Conservation Framing is based on the standards set by the leading museums and conservationists in North America. Specialty items are quoted on an individual basis. Larson-Juhl reserves the right to return special items, due to time restrictions. ORDERING CHOPS, LINERS, FILLETS AND ENHANCERS FRAME SIZES C B A When ordering frame sizes, please remember that we base our sizes on FILLETS CHOPS the exact size of the piece being framed. We always make a 1/8" size allowance unless you want an exact fit. If you prefer an exact fit, specify “exact” after noting your chop size.
