HOWARD P. ‘‘BUCK’’ MCKEON, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM CALIFORNIA, CHAIRMAN, COM- MITTEE ON ARMED SERVICES The CHAIRMAN. The committee will come to order. Good morning. The House Armed Services Committee meets today to receive testimony from Members of Congress on their na- tional defense priorities for the fiscal year 2013 National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA]. As we begin the process of crafting our legislation it is essential that this committee seek input from all Members of the House to better enable us to fulfill Congress’ Article I, Section 8 constitu- tional mandate to provide for the common defense.
