Lombok Tengah 2 Orang Meninggal Dunia Aftershocks of the Earthquake 7M in Lombok 7 SR 6.4 SR Main shock 7 M - 318 aftershocks detected between the main shock of the 7M earthquake on 5 August 2018 and 8 August 2018 at 07:00 WIB. - Out of the 318 aftershocks, 17 of them were between magnitude 3 and 5.6 at the depth between 10 to 25 km Satelite Imagery of Residential Structures and Buildings on Lombok Satelite Images on the extent of Damage to Residential structures and other buildings on Lombok • Not all damages can be identified. The worst affected areas are in Lombok Utara, Lombok Timur and Lombok Barat. Data collection is ongoing. BNPB, BIG, Lapan, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, and BPPT are mapping the damages to houses and buildings using the remote sensing satellite and direct field observation Evacuation of Tourists at Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, dan Gili Air Gili Trawangan Gili Meno Gili Air Pelabuhan Bangsal ● Evacuation of 8.381 domestics and foreign tourist have been completed at 7 August 2018 at 15:00 WIB. ● The evacuations used 13 ships in total. ● Evacuation destination : 1. Benoa port, Bali (3 ships) : KM Binaiya,Bounty Cruise, dan Patagonia Express 2. Lembar port, Lombok Barat, NTB (3 ships) : KM Sindo Dwi Utama, KMP Dharma Rucitra III, KMP Portlink II 3. Bangsal ship, Lombok Utara, NTB (7 ships) : RB 220 Mataram, Boat KPLP, Super scott Boat, KM Putri Island, KM EKa Jaya 25, KM EKa Jaya 26, KMP Nusa Penida ● Today, Basarnas is scouring the 3 islands, air observation using helicopter as well as land observation (to check whether any victims still remain trapped under the rubble) Today’s Search and Rescue effort 1. Continue evacuation of victims trapped under the collapsed building in: (i) Jabbal Nur Mosque in Northern Lombok Regency; (ii) Tanjung City Health Center (Puskesmas) in Northern Lombok Regency; (iii) Jamiul Jamaah Mosque in Northem Lombok Regency. There was an event happening at the Mosque during the event, however no casualties found as of 7 August 2018; and (iv) several places in Northern Lombok Regency. 2. For the evacuation process, the government deployed 18 heavy equipments, 4 K9 dogs and search and rescue personnels. Additional heavy equipments are currently being sent from Bali, Lombok area and contributions from private sectors. 3. Additional public kitchen, field kitchen and logistic distribution. • Establishing public kitchen at the affected areas (particularly in Northern Lombok Regency and Western Lombok Regency) by Indonesian Armed Forces, Indonesian National Police, Tagana, Central Java Local Emergency Management Agency (BPBD Jawa Tengah), NGOs. • 100 tons of rice from Logistic Depot, Social Service and Western Nusa Tenggara Local Emergency Management Agency (BPBD NTB). • Assist in expediting Logistic Management DIstribution 4. Electricity recovery by 13 teams from Indonesia’s National Electric Company (PLN). Electricity has been restored in Tanjung District, Northern Lombok Regency. Electricity restoration is currently undergoing for the past 2-3 days in Tanjung - Pemenang areas, Northern Lombok Regency. Today’s Search and Rescue effort(continued) 5. BASARNAS had searched Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno from land and air. 6. Tents distribution (family tents, evacuation tents and public kitchen tents). 7. Security patrol to ensure community safety. 8. School is still closed in Northern Lombok Regency and Western Lombok regency. 9. Fulfillment of basic needs to the evacuees. Public kitchen has been established in Tanjung DIstrict, Bayan District and Pemenang District. One public kitchen can serve up to 1000 persons. 10. Medical service: • Naval Hospital Ship KRI dr. Soeharso has arrived in Northern Lombok Regency on 7 AUgust 2017 at 7.45 PM and have started operational. • Floating Hospital Ship Prabu Airlangga is currently enroute to Northern Lombok Regency. • Field hospital has also been operational from the following: (i) 1st Health Battalion Hospital in Sembalun District, Eastern Lombok Regency and (ii) 2nd Health Battalion Hospital in Northern Lombok Regency by the Indonesian Army Strategic Command (KOSTRAD) and Indonesian Marine Coprs. • Hospitals and Health Centre. 11. Housing verification by Public Works Service and LEMA. 12. 3G and 4G network restoration in Tanjung District and Gili Trawangan area. 13. Building well, hydrant and public sanitation facility in evacuation site. 14. Establishing National Assisting Post (Pospenas) in Northern Lombok along with Military Resort Commander (Dansatgas Danrem) Pencarian Penyelamatan dan Evakuasi Korban oleh Tim Basarnas pada 8/8/2018 pukul 10.00 WIB Operational area is divided into 6 areas, involving 190 personnel: 1. Sector F :Jugil Barat Village Gangga sub regency - Conducting assessment of isolated location due to landslides and checking SAR needs for local community Offer of International Assistance for the Emergency Response for the Magnitude 7 Earthquake in Lombok In response to the incoming international assistance to the affected area of Lombok, please note the following points: 1. Considering that the current disaster can still be handled by existing national capacity, the Government of Indonesia is still not requiring international assistance. 2. The BNPB call on the relevant Ministries/Agencies to manage and monitor the international stakeholders that will or already have performed emergency response operations in Lombok. Including all things related to Custom, Immigration and Quarantine Port (CIQP) and other consular services. 3. BNPB call on all stakeholders, be they local NGOs or public organisations, not to invite international partners into Lombok to provide international assistance. Head of BNPB has arrived in Lombok with additional logistics and 2 helicopters to support emergency response operations 2. BNPB sent 21MT of supplies and equipment using special cargo aircraft. 3. BNPB continue to provide intensive assistance for the emergency response operations. 4. BNPB together with BPBD, TNI, Polri, Basarnas, Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of State Enterprise, SKPD, NGO, volunteers and others have been performing emergency response. Government Efforts: Joint Team 1. TNI: • open a command post at the Suma 4 building, Halim Perdana Kusuma airport, Jakarta Timur, to facilitate donation of relief items from the public for the survivors. • dispatch 387 troops, consisting of 82 personnel from the Yonkes (Health Battalion) Division 2 of Kostrad (Army Strategic Command), 100 personnel from the Marine Yonkes, 100 personnel from Yon Paskhas (Special Troops), 100 personnel from Yonzipur (Battle Battalion), 10 from Kostrad, and 5 personnel of Komlek (communication and electricity) • deploy 3 ships, KRI dr Soeharso-990, KRI Karel Satsuit Tubun-356 and KRI Kakap-811. KRI dr Soeharso-990 is a hospital ship of the TNI AL (Indonesian Marine), equipped with medical supporting facilities to assist the victims. The ship has emergency treatment facility, 3 surgery rooms, 6 policlinic rooms, 14 clinics and 2 in-patients wards consisting of 40 beds. • The Paskhas of the TNI AU (Indonesian Air Force) dispatch 100 personnel using C130 Hercules and A1315 Hercules aircrafts, departin from the Halim Perdana Kusuma airport. The group consists of two teams, the health team and the SAR team. 2. Polri: Dispatch 4 units (satuan setingkat kompi/SSK) (400 personnel), 5 medical teams (60 personnel) and 2 helicopters. POLRI is also responsible for providing security to critical government assets and properties. Additionally, Polri also send 25 psychologists (14 police psychologist and 11 professional psychologists) to the camp sites to provide trauma healing therapy to the survivors. 3. KemenPUPR (Ministry of Public Works and Housing): Plan to drill wells at camp sites to address the need for clean water, and to send 16 units of water hydrant each with capacity up to 2,000 litres, 30 hydrants with capacity of 1,000 litres each, and 26 portable toilets. 4.
