Version: Final Page 3 of 56 2017 Park County Annual Operating Plan PREAMBLE This local annual operating plan is prepared pursuant to the state annual operating plan, 2016 Colorado Statewide Wildland Fire Management Annual Operating Plan (State AOP). The Colorado Statewide Wildland Fire Management Annual Operating Plan was prepared pursuant to the Colorado Statewide Cooperative Wildland Fire Management and Stafford Act Response Agreement signed and dated 6/1/2011, and as amended in 2013. PURPOSE This local annual operating plan is applicable to all signatory parties (Park County, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Region, and USDI Colorado Bureau of Land Management) within the State of Colorado. It addresses how signatories will implement cooperation, interagency working relationships and protocols, financial arrangements, and joint fire management activities within Park County, Colorado. This local annual operating plan is titled Park County Annual Operating Plan (County AOP) to emphasize this focus at the County-level. Figure 1 displays how this local level annual operating plan is an equal collaboration among the signatories. Figure 1.
