Nanneella Estate Primary School Newsletter—Term 4 Week 3— 24th October 2019 Join us for a Walk or Run Each morning our students have been running around the school on our running track in preparation for our Community Coming Events 2019 Kilometre Challenge. Community members are most welcome to join us for a lap or two, starting at 8.50am October each morning for a 10 minute walk. November Monday 4th Pupil Free Day Tuesday 5th Melbourne Cup Day Wednesday 6th Walk to School Day Thanks Anna Monday 11th Pet Education Program Mrs Kemp has done a fabulous job filling in on Mondays and Grades Prep—4 Wednesdays whilst Mrs McQuillan has been on leave. We Monday 11th—Friday 15th appreciate her working these extra Grade 5/6 Canberra Camp days to ensure our classroom programs continue seamlessly whilst Mrs Friday 22nd McQuillan was away. Mrs McQuillan will Cluster Summer Sports return next week. December 2—11 Somers Camp School Council At last nights meeting school council approved the Grade 5/6 Camp to Canberra and the 5/6 Camp to Somers, a pupil free day and 3 policies which were up for review. Also tabled at the meeting were a new Child Safety Policy and a new Child Safe: Code of Conduct Policy. Both these policies apply to all staff, volunteers, contractors and any other member of the school community. A copy of these policies is provided to each family for feedback or comment before our next school council meeting to be held on November 27th. The Flu All families are advised that a student at school has a confirmed case of Influenza B. Parents who have any Student Attendance concerns should contact their preferred health Last Week—92% practitioner for advice. As OUR SUPPORTERS expected tickets for this event sold out very quickly. IN 2019 School families have been asked to supply supper (slices, biscuits and sandwiches) for the event. In this way we can support Nanneella Community Inc. Nanneella Community Incorporated, who are great supporters of our Nanneella Store 5484 5370 school. Bunnings Echuca Pupil Free Day Apex Club Echuca/Moama Rochester Sportspower School Council has approved Monday 4th November as a Pupil Free Day. Students are not required to Bendigo Bank Rochester attend school on this day.
