Chamber/Symphonic Literature ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE Academic, Advancement, and Enrollment Central Bible College Chair of Fine Arts and Communications Department (CBC, 2003-2013) 1. Prepared accreditation reports for Vice President of Academic Affairs. 2. Chaired two accreditation steering committees and wrote accreditation reports. CBC received immediate accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission due to the efforts of these committees and the CBC faculty members. 3. Prepared annual budgets for the Fine Arts and Communication Department. 4. Prepared annual Faculty Evaluation Portfolios for all depart- mental faculty. 5. Wrote annual reports of the activities of the Fine Arts & Communications division. 6. Created, designed, and developed four new degree programs: Ministry & Arts (music and drama), New Media Drama (media technology and drama), New Media Ministry (media technology for the church and professional), and Contempor- ary Worship Leadership. These four degree programs were the first of these types of degrees in Assemblies of God colleges and universities. In the final year of CBC’s existence, due to the Contemporary Worship Leadership degree and the worship program, CBC had 24 new freshman come to study in this pro- gram. It was a thriving degree even though the school was closing. 7. Designed student assessment procedures to ensure student 3 cess with particular attention given to at-risk students. 8. Created, designed, developed, and supervised the CBC Chapel Worship Team Program. The program included guidelines for structure, supervision, membership, worship selections, presentation and decorum, rehearsals and sound checks, and appropriate platform attire. 9. Coordinated all departmental events including monthly facul- ty meetings, scholarship auditions, special events, annual de- partmental calendars, prospective student interviews and tours, daily chapel worship teams and special music. 10. Worked with the scholarship office to award annual scholar- ships. 11. Founded, developed, and directed two traveling music teams for recruitment: HeartSong and 57.7. 12. Worked closely with the Vice President of Institutional Development in planning tours for music groups, assisted in designing travel group policies, and prepared budgets for touring groups. 13. Worked closely with the Vice President of Institutional Development/Enrollment Office in planning regular College Visit Days, recruitment, traveling college promotional teams, recruitment of National Fine Arts prospective students, and other promotional endeavors. 14. Created, designed, and developed CBC Arts Day, fall and spring college days for prospective Fine Arts students. Be cause of its success, the CBC Enrollment Office asked to join this endeavor and many ideas from Arts Day were then used for the regular CBC College Days. 15. Created, designed, and developed CBC Fine Arts Prep Day, a recruitment tool and training program for junior high and high school students who were preparing for Fine Arts competitions. Because I and two other CBC Fine Arts pro- fessors were national fine arts judges, this was a tool to at tract students to the CBC campus and also assist them in 4 their preparation for competition. Received permission and support from the National Youth Department of the Assem- blies of God to hold this event. 16. Developed surveys for the Fine Arts and Communication De- partment to track statistics on student recruitment and reten- tion. 17. Produced twelve albums/CD’s of HeartSong and 57.7. Most were recorded live and mixed in Studio A (Central Bible Col- lege) and one in Evangel’s recording studio. The last two HeartSong CD’s , “Nothing Is Impossible” and “We Give You Praise” reached into the low 50’s on the iTunes charts.
