For this analysis, the HMA is divided into two submarkets: (1) the Missouri submarket, which consists of Bates, Caldwell, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Jackson, Lafayette, Platte, and Ray Counties; and (2) the Kansas submarket, which consists of Johnson, Linn, Miami, Leavenworth, and Wyandotte Counties.
