Senate Committees 10 TToday, 17 electric cooperatives serve more than one Senators 13 million Arkansans in 74 of the state’s 75 counties. From humble beginnings, the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas now have ownership in 13 electric generating ARKANSAS HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES plants, own one of the leading transformer manufacturers House District Map 22 in the nation and produce the most widely circulated House Committees 26 publication in the state, Arkansas Living magazine. Representatives 30 Our mission is to provide reliable and affordable ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES OF ARKANSAS electricity in a safe and responsible manner to our Board of Directors 55 members. As nonprofit cooperatives, the electric Territory Map 56 cooperatives are owned by their members and advocate Senior Management 62 on their behalf to improve the quality of life in Arkansas.
