Delhi is one of the fastest growing states of the country. At current prices, the gross state domestic product (GSDP) of Delhi was US$ 96.5 billion in 2016-17. Between 2011-12 and 2016-17, GSDP of the state grew at a growth CAGR of 7.28%. Real estate & construction sector’s contribution to the GSDP in the state has increased from US$ 3.24 billion Attractive real estate in 2004-05 to US$ 25.14 billion in 2016-17. Government focus towards affordable housing is boosting the industry growth of the real estate sector in the state. For housing and urban development in Delhi, the State Government announced plans to invest US$ 483.16 million in 2017-18. Owing to its location, connectivity & rich cultural history, Delhi has always been a prime tourist attraction of the country.
