Village Council South SCHEDULE-II BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION OF KAWNPUI AREA Starting Point from the South :- SOUTH: Starting from Midum Lui at the distance of 350m (Approx.) East of Kawnpui­ Aizawl/Durtlang Road, the boundaries follows Midum Lui towards its source. By crossing Kawnpui-Durtlang Road and Kawnpui -Sairang Road (NH-54), the boundary goes upward towards western till it reaches a big flat Top. From this, the boundary deflects in the Northern direction along flank ofMilu Tlang till it meets streamjunction ofTuikual Lui. Hence, it goes towards North by encircling the old safety reserve ofMualvum Village till it meets Chhawllen Kham. WEST: Starting from Chhawllen Kham the boundary follow the scarpend cliffalong the ridge line, to north-wards upto Thingzaitlang ofHortoki Road. From this it goes directly to northwards by crossing western cliffscarp ofKhawserhsuang Tlang it meets the western safety reserve of Bualpui Village, at the distance of 320mts from the Main Road. From this point it goes to northwards upto stream junction ofBualzaw Lui, at a distance of 550.00 kawn. Hence it goes towards the North­ West till it meets Kawnpui Lui. Northern Side: From that point the Boundary Line goes up towards the West along the Kawnpui Lui till it meets BRTF main road. Hence it follows down the Rihte nullah in the direction till Khamrang Lui meets Rihte nullah. Western Side: From that 300m point the boundary line goes towards the South in the straight line till reaches Kikawn point. Hence, it follows down the Rihte nullah in the direction till Khamrang Lui meets Rihte nullah Northern Side: From that point the boundary line runs up towards the East along the nullah and crosses Leichat Kawr and then reaches starting point located at Midum Lui.
