Translated briefings offered. • Recruitment focused health team pipeline Cambodia: 96 PROGRAM RESPONSE Colombia: 378 DRC: 48 Country Program COVID-19 Responses: El Salvador: 9 Sudan and Somalia have an incredibly high level of responsibility. Sudan health teams serve 1,500,000 people alone. Global health technical staff support surge Germany: 37.066 scenario planning and program design. Operations and logistics team focused on Jordan: 172 pre-position medicine and supplies. Recruitment focused on pipeline. USA: 61,167 South Sudan and Pakistan – government restrictions to prevent the spread of Vietnam: 141 Covid-19 have resulted in temporary suspension of some programming but both teams rally to find new ways to support communities. Pakistan begin outreach in refugee communities on Afghan border. South Sudan teams begin in outreach in the remote areas where they work. New Initiatives: • The Color Movement partnership with Catholic Sisters has focused on prevention and preparedness training and support for Catholic Sisters and the communities they serve worldwide. This week virtual trainings will be conducted in Nicaragua, Morocco, India, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Meetings have been held with UN Foundation, Vatican, and GHR Foundation to scale initiative. PROGRAM RESPONSE (continued • The Alight and IDEO.org teams are co-creating high-impact, culturally resonant and relevant health-messaging with refugee organizations in Kenya and Uganda. WHO guidelines are being used. Messaging will roll out on digital and across camps next week. FUNDING • OFDA and UNHCR announce Covid-19 funding, teams declare readiness and begin proposal process. • Sudan secures $100,000 OCHA funding for health and wash preparedness • TO Foundation signs MoU with Alight to support community-driven response in Nakivale Settlement in Uganda. Funds first $50K. Agree to promote through influencer network. • Private fundraising and outreach continues: mail sent to 33,000 households, email sent to 334,450 households, 800 calls made, 1.7million digital ad impressions, MN radio ads reach 610,000 people, second press release to be sent Tuesday, 6 corporate meetings held.
