Yaakov’s homeland was a place of Holiness and he was headed to a place of idolatry, as we shall see from Lavan’s שיינה רחל בת שרה הודל Larry Seligson’s son- angry response to the theft of his “Teraphim,” clearly identifying his home as a place of רפאל אפרים בן סימא פריעדל Manny Mayerfeld “Avodah Zarah,” idolatry.
