Preference for these appointments may be given to the Heads of the Departments. (b) Desirable i) A high postgraduate qualification in any of the specialities of Interest to the institute. ii) Should possess other distinctions in the field of Medical Science iii) 03 years administrative experience as Head of a Medical institution/University recognized by MCI/NMC 2. Upper age limit As per the norms prescribed by the MCI/NMC for Medical Faculty 3. Pay Scale Pay as per 7th CPC : Pay Level 17 – Rs. 2,25,000/- + NPA (basic pay + NPA shall not exceed Rs.2,37,500/- (Rupees Two lakhs thirty seven thousand five hundred only) and other allowances + perks as admissible from time to time. 4.
