Maddy Apple (Ensemble) is so excited to be returning to MGR for the 2010 season! She is currently a senior at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Previous credits at MGR: High School Musical, No, No, Nanette, and A Chorus Line. So much love and thanks to Ed, the MGR staff, and my family! Julie Cardia (The Drowsy Chaperone) 2010 S.A.L.T Award nominee Best Actress in No, No, Nanette. Credits: Promenade, New World Stages, starring Andrea McArdle; Adelaide, Guys and Dolls (Stages St. Louis, 2010 Kevin Kline Nomination), National Tours, Annie (Lily St. Regis), Starring Kathy Lee Gifford, Shout (Ogunquit Playhouse), Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun (Fireside Theatre), Mama Rose in Gypsy (ABT), Showboat, Mame, My Fair Lady and Music Man (all at Sacramento Music Circus), Hair (TUTS). Julie will return to Ogunquit for the Regional Premier of Sunset Boulevard. Geno Carr (Underling) is as giddy as a schoolgirl to be back doing what he loves, at a place that he loves! MGR: The Producers, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Ragtime, The Full Monty, Forever Plaid and many others; Off-Broadway: Bush Wars; National Tours: Grease, Phantom and The Buddy Holly Story; Regional Favorites: Sweeney Todd, A Christmas Carol, City of Angels, Little Shop of Horrors, South Pacific, Damn Yankees, Bat Boy and The Secret Garden. MFA: Sarah Lawrence College; BA: Hartwick College. Geno lives in San Diego with his beautiful wife and adorable puggle. Aleka Emerson (Trix the Aviatrix/US Drowsy) last appeared here in The Producers in 2008. She graduated in 2009 from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, CAP21 program with a BFA. Favorite shows include West Side Story (MSMT), Thoroughly Modern Millie (MSMT), Pippin and Into the Woods (NYU). She is grateful to be working with such a talented, heart-warming cast and would like to thank God, her family and her friends for their love and support. Enjoy the show! Danny Gardner (George) was last seen as Curtis in Time Step at the New Victory (NYC). Some of his favorite credits include the National Tour of 42nd Street, Thoroughly Modern Millie at Sacramento Music Circus, White Christmas at TUTS, Half a Sixpence at Goodspeed Opera House, and The Rink at Musicals Tonight! Favortie credits from MGR include George M!, Crazy For You and Brigadoon. It debuted in 1998 at The Rivoli in Toronto and opened on Broadway on May 1, 2006. The Drowsy Chaperone was nominated for a record-breaking 13 Tony Awards and won 5 including Best Book and Best Score. The show has also had productions in London, Japan and Australia as well as 2 North American tours. Fun Facts The Drowsy Chaperone started when McKellar, Lambert and Morrison created a spoof of old musicals for the stag party of Bob Martin and Janet Van de Graaff. After its initial presentation, Bob joined his friends on stage and joked, “What a wonderful show. I have some notes.” Those notes would be inspiration for the “Man in Chair” character, the narrator of the show, played
