INTRODUCTION Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1999 (the Act), requires councils to develop a budget for each financial year. Councils must prepare, as part of the budget development process, an Annual Business Plan. This Annual Business Plan sets out the City of Port Lincoln’s proposed services, programs and projects for 2019/20. Council aims to maintain efficient services for the community and continue progress towards the longer term objectives for the City of Port Lincoln as set out in Council’s Strategic Directions Plan 2016-2026. The specific objectives for the year are consistent with the Council’s Long Term Financial Plan and Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan, to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Council’s financial performance and position.
