Invocation – John Adkison Sergeant-at-Arms – Darrell Blue Program – Helen Marieskind GSE TEAM LEADER AND MEMBERS SOUGHT Applications are now being sought for a Team Leader and Team Members for the 2011 GSE Exchange from our District 5060 to District 3280 in Bangladesh from January 25 to February 28, 2011. This is a cultural and vocational exchange which is designed to foster international understanding and goodwill. All travel, accommodation and meal costs are paid by Rotary. The fi ve member team will tour Bangladesh, stay with Rotarians, share knowledge with professional counterparts, and make presentations about their countries and culture to Rotary clubs and other groups. Applicants for Team Leader must be Rotarians, ideally 65 years of age or younger and in good physical health. Ideal team members will be between the ages of 25 and 40; currently employed for at least two years in any recognized business or profession on a fulltime basis; a citizen of the country in which they reside; in good health; neat in appearance and able to express themselves clearly and logically; comfortable working as part of a team with a schedule that is physically and emotionally demanding; and be available for the duration of the exchange as well as four week-end orientation sessions. Team members may not be Rotarians a Rotarian spouse, or a lineal descendent of a Rotarian. Bangladesh has 160 Rotary clubs with more than 4,300 Rotarians plus their families. It borders India on all sides except for a small border with Burma to the far southeast and by the Bay of Bengal to the south. Together with the Indian state of West Bengal, it makes up the ethno- linguistic region of Bengal. The deadline for Team Leader applications is August 18th. The deadline for Team Members is September 15th. Interviews for Team Leader are August 28 and 29 in Omak. Interviews for Team Members are September 25 and 26.
