.................................................................................................................... 131 3 Greene County Comprehensive Plan INTRODUCTION The Greene County Comprehensive Plan is the guiding document for the county, intended to integrate a wide range of subjects into a coherent vision that may best manage traffic, accommodate forecasted household and job growth, and provide open space and recreational opportunities and other vital services in the county. In accordance with the Code of Virginia, the Comprehensive Plan is reviewed every five years by the Planning Commission and adopted by the Board of Supervisors in order to take current conditions and citizen input into account.
