18/01/2017 WATER NORTH COALITION JANUARY 19, 2017 Presented by: Gary Couch, Manager of Environmental Services GREENVIEW FACTS • The Municipal District of Greenview is the 3rd largest municipality by land area in Alberta, covering 32,989 km2 or 3,298,900 hectares or 8,151,759 acres • The residential population of Greenview is approximately 5,300 residents • Greenview represents the rural areas of Grande Cache, Fox Creek, Little Smoky, Grovedale, Ridgevalley, Landry Heights, Valleyview including the 7 co-operatives and enterprises (Grande Cache area) with 138 homes within Greenview 1 18/01/2017 • Ground water is the only source of water for the MD of Greenview.
