As many of you know, my sister, Mary Ann, is a Benedictine sister at Our Lady of Grace Monastery in Beech Grove. The sisters also administer St. Paul’s Hermitage in Beech Grove where our mother spent the last eight years of her life. It was such a wonder- ful place for her to live those final years. Sister Mary Ann is now in charge of the medical care of the elder- ly sisters in the community. I have always had a special admiration for the Ben- edictines at Beech Grove.
