An administrator logs into the E911 Anywhere® Web portal and establishes civic locations for all Layer 3 network regions and establishes an Emergency Lo- cation Identification Number (ELIN) for each network region. Civic Location records are MSAG-validated by the service and stored in a Dynamic ALI database at the Service. 2. When a SFB client registers, its sends a HELD request to the Microsoft SFB LIS which proxies the request to E911 Anywhere® Service. The E911 Anywhere® Service then returns a NG9-1-1 compliant PIDF-LO response based on the IP address of the SFB client . 3. When a SFB client dials 9-1-1, the location of the phone (PIDF-LO) is embedded in the SIP signaling stream by the SFB Server. The Mediation Server uses SIP signaling to set up the call with the E911 Anywhere® Service. The PIDF-LO is read by the E911 Anywhere® Service and routed to the appropriate PSAP and the DID of the caller is exposed as the called back number. 4. The PSAP receives the 9-1-1 call and retrieves the ALI record for the caller. 5. Simultaneous to the call processing, The E911 Anywhere® service sends emergency notifications (screen pop, SMS or email) to the enterprise. 6. Skype for Business UC clients on a laptop are supported with the MyE911® Application. SFB UC clients on a smartphone are supported with MyE911 for Mobile® application. These two applications will support location identification inside and outside the enterprise.
