This Festival was started on 2012 at the Nattika Beach. It is held in association with Kerala Tourism Department, Nattika Panchayath and Nattika Beach Festival Destination Management Council. OF PEOPLE (Local / National / International) PARTICIPATED EVENTS/PROGRAMS DESCRIPTION (How festival is celebrated) During the fest, there will be an array of colourful events like Bike races adventure tourism programmes, Cultural activities by Boat race in the sea International artists, sea cruises, a rain of colours, beach race, Beach football food fest, carnivals and processions. The Ten day fest will have a Kalaripayattu day full of activities that lasts until midnight. One of the major Anayoottu attractions of the fest is that Big Screen & Mini Screen Award Nattika Beach Expo Ceremony with south Indian Film & Television Artists. Clay Big Screen & Mini Screen modeling, Bike races, Boat race in the sea, Beach football, Award Ceremony Kalaripayattu (a Martial art form of Kerala), Anayoottu (feeding elephants), Kite flying exhibition, Seafood Preparation competitions, Saluting the Army men etc are some of the different events held as a part of the Nattika beach festival.
