Arthur D was never owned by Mrs J Oscar Muntz he was the sire of Arthur’s Pride, purchased by Mrs Muntz in 1915. Queen Mary was a famous mare who was the dam of Blink Bonny, winner of the Derby and The Oaks in 1857 and many other winning horses Birdcatcher (Irish) foaled in 1833 was a good racehorse and in his time a leading sire, one of his foals was the famous Miss Agnes and another was Darling’s Dam 1850. Bircatcher (Irish) by Sir Hecules died in March 1860 at the age of 27.
