The AMC reports to the High Level Airspace Management Committee composed of: o Department of Civil Aviation of Cyprus (DCAC); o Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works (MCW); o Ministry of Defence (MoD); o Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA). - The Cyprus Meteorological Service under the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Natural Resources (certified MET provider). - The Cyprus Telecommunications Agency (CYTA- certified CNS provider) under the responsibility of the Ministry of Finance. - HERMES, is the operator of Larnaka and Paphos International Airports Main airport covered by LSSIP: Larnaka (LCLK) and Paphos (LCPH). Cyprus is part of The BLUE MED FAB Number of national projects: 11 Number of FAB projects: 7 Number of multinational projects: 1 Summary of 2019 developments: - VCS replacement at both Larnaca and Pafos Towers, as well as replacement of the backup system at the Nicosia ACC - Installation of LARA Radar - The Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus, has adopted the legal act for the corporatisation of the Air Navigation Service Provider of Cyprus, on the 12th of July 2019. With the assistance of EUROCONTROL, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works has commenced work on the establishment of the company that will allow for the transition of the services and staff from the current ANSP to the new one. LSSIP Year 2019 Cyprus- Level 1 2 Released Issue Progress per SESAR Phase The figure below shows the progress made so far in the implementation of the SESAR baseline (Pre-SESAR and SESAR1 non-PCP) and the PCP elements. It shows the average implementation progress for all objectives grouped by SESAR Phases, excluding those for which the State is outside the applicability area as defined on a yearly basis in the European ATM Master Plan (Level 3) 2019, i.e. disregarding the declared “NOT APPLICABLE”LSSIP progress status. The SESAR 1 (non-PCP) progress in the graphics below for this State is based on the following objectives: AOP14, AOP15, AOP16, AOP17, AOP18, ATC18, ATC19, ATC20, NAV12 and COM11.2.
