D2 should allow for multiple future conditions for I-345, including a depressed configuration 2. The East Transfer Center is an asset, a D2 station should be located nearby, a redesigned ETC could offer high density redevelopment 3. Permanent closure of major roadways such as Pacific-Gaston or Cesar Chavez are unacceptable 4. Consolidate impacted parcels into larger developable tracts 5. Portal or station in the area of Carpenter Park calls for collaboration of DART, City of Dallas and TxDOT ensure design excellence and zero impacts to park 6. At-grade wye (Y) in the Swiss option takes a lot of land, could be unsightly and is not pedestrian friendly. Mitigation through air rights and perimeter screening *Paraphrased list Swiss Ave Train Portal Conceptual Rendering, March 2017 17 Swiss Ave Train Portal Conceptual Rendering, March 2017 18 Swiss Ave
