Paediatric Child Life staff came up with the idea of Christmas In July to replenish their Treasure Chests, giving young children in the hospital a reward when showing bravery upon receiving treatment. Treasure Chests are located in Paediatric Services, Emergency Department, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio Pulmonary; available to a child to assist with anxiety while in the hospital. Canadian College of Health Sciences and Technology representatives included (l to r), Tammy Fitzgerald; Instructor, Grace Gardiner; Child Life specialist, Lisa Galbraith; Brittany Morrison; and, Angelina Ausman, displaying their gifts to the hospital, collected by the college students. .
