Offshore terminals are among the hottest assets in energy. Known as Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRUs), a special type of ship that helps transfers LNG through Oceanic channels. The offshore facility has an advantage over land-based LNG terminals because they allow buyers fast access to the LNG market, can be built faster and are typically smaller. 12h00 Bus Transfer to Mövenpick Hotel 12h00-14h00 Free time / Lunch 14h00-17h00 Parallel visits Option 1: Visit of the AITI-KACE: Advanced Information Technology Institute The Ghana - India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT is Ghana’s first Advanced Information Technology Institute. Option 2: Cultural visit to the Osu Castle followed by the Accra Arts Center Osu Castle, also known as Fort Christiansborg, is a castle located in Osu, Accra, Ghana. The first substantial fort was built by Denmark-Norway in the 1660s, though the castle has changed hands between Denmark-Norway, Portugal, the Akwamu, Britain, and finally post-Independence Ghana, and was rebuilt numerous times. For most of the castle's history, it has been the seat of government in Ghana with some interruptions, the latest when the John Kufuor administration moved the seat of government to Golden Jubilee House after 6 January 2009, which was quickly reversed by the incoming John Atta Mills administration. It also serves as the place where the late president of Ghana John Atta Mills is buried; in a bird sanctuary, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The visit will then continue on to the Centre For National Culture in Accra, Ghana, better known simply as “The Arts Center”. It has got everything from woven Kente cloth, wooden sculptures, earrings and other fashion accessories, the latest in African attire fashion and arts and crafts from all over Ghana. 18h00 Transfer to airport 22h05 Flight to Brussels Friday 5 October 07h30 Free Shuttle to Luxembourg Contacts Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce: Thomas Bertrand, International Affairs, Sub-Saharan Africa: [email protected] Sarah Nilles, International Affairs [email protected] 3 .
