This Directory aims to encourage older Tasmanians who are retired or semi- retired to continue to remain active, have new experiences and engage with their local community by accessing hundreds of discounts and offers from participating businesses. 2017 will mark the 23rd year since the Seniors Card Program began in Tasmania and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses that have voluntarily joined the Program to support Tasmanian Seniors Card holders. The Tasmanian Government is proud to be in partnership with so many businesses that have either re-registered or joined the Program for the first time. Their commitment has enabled the Program to go from strength to strength, with just over 102,000 active Card holders and over 700 businesses registered. These partnerships embrace our over-60 population and foster opportunities for being active at any age. To maximise your spending power don’t forget to use your card as often as you can and keep a copy of the Directory handy so you can find that local Business Partner.
