A list of native and naturalized vascular plant species in Nova Scotia was generated from Wild Species 2005: The General Status of Species in Canada using the General Status Search Tool. Limitations Please note that only one common name for each species is given, also that synonyms for the scientific names are not listed. Further the list is not complete, e.g., there seem to be some Atlantic Coastal Plainspecies missing; varieties and subspecies are not cited in the Wild Species 2005 generated lists, nor are taxonomic authorities. There are a few spelling errors in the list below (carried over from the Wild Species 2005 generated lists); these will be corrected as they are discovered.
