Abbey Ward Alison Stevens Your Conservative candidate Alison has lived in Abbey Ward for 30 years and has brought up a family here. She works in the town centre and enjoys being able to walk to work. She appreciates living in an old house in a Conservation Area and would like to see the council do more to protect the heritage of the area where we live. She wants to see the streets kept clean and new buildings respect the character of the area. Alison believes that the council could deliver services much more efficiently and provide residents with better value for money. She finds the congestion around the town infuriating and strongly supports any effort to build a third Thames Bridge, effectively creating an Eastern by-pass.
