The minutes of meeting were circulated vide letter No.630-704/Drainage/14/2017 Dated: 20.04.2017. No comments have been received from any quarter. It is requested that minutes may kindly be confirmed. 8 Minutes of 46th meeting of Haryana State Technical Advisory Committee dated 30.03.2017 under the Chairpersonship of Mrs. Keshni Anand Arora, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary & Financial Commissioner, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Haryana. The list of participants is at Annexure A. The Principal Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Haryana welcomed the Chairman and other participants to the meeting. Giving a brief account of the flood situation during 2016,Principal Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, informed that low flood was experienced in the State during last year with the highest flood discharge of about 1.59 lac cusecs in river Yamuna on 01.08.2016 and no loss of life and livestock was reported. With the permission of the chair, the item-wise agenda was taken up for deliberations and the following decisions were taken: - Item No.1: The minutes of the 45th meeting of Haryana State Technical Advisory Committee were confirmed. Item No.2: Action Taken report was accepted. Item No.3: Flood Report on Haryana for the year 2016 was noted. The PS, I&WRD informed the Chairman that the state received deficit rainfall during year 2016. However some parts of districts like Jhajjar, Rohtak, Bhiwani, Jindwere water logged due to accumulation of rain water in the fields or abadi due to concentrated
