If you wish to change your listing, please contact the Faculty Council Office; we shall move your name to your preferred academic voting unit and these changes will take effect in the next election cycle. The faculty elected as a result of this year’s electoral process will begin serving a two-year term at the close of Spring Semester. During Spring Semester, the newly constituted Council (composed of the newly-elected faculty and the half of this year’s Council whose term continues through next year) will choose its officers, will form its committees, and will be empowered following the close of our last Council meeting in April. There will be two ballots: a nomination ballot and a final ballot. Faculty participation is critical in both the nominating process and the final election. This document has been prepared in order to help you to participate in the nominating process. The election process is defined by the Constitution of the Bloomington Faculty of Indiana University and the Bylaws of the Bloomington Faculty Council.
