Sincerely, William Crawford, Executive Director The Ohio State Racing Commission is dedicated to the protection, preservation and promotion of horse racing and its related industry components. In that connection, the Commission shall regulate pari- mutuel wagering and the licensing of all industry participants in order to insure the protection of the wagering public and the integrity of the sport. The commission shall use its best efforts to promote horse racing and breeding to the citizens of Ohio. The Commission shall cooperate with horse owners, trainers, breeders, other licensees, county fairs, and commercial racetracks in order to accomplish these goals.
