20/09/2018 INTERNATIONAL EXPERT SEMINAR TRANSITION FROM EDUCATION TO EMPLOYMENT FOR ROMA YOUTH A Key step in Roma Inclusion 25-26 September 2018 Brijuni Islands, Croatia Practical information Accommodation and venue Croatian Government Office for Human Rights and Rights of National Minorities has organised paid accommodation for CAHROM member States, representatives of the non-governmental organisations and ad-hoc speakers in single rooms in the Hotel Istria / Neptun (http://www.np- brijuni.hr/en/accommodation/Hotel_Istra-Neptun ), National Park Brijuni, Brijuni - post office: Brionska 10, 52212 Fažana, with Hotel ISTRA being venue of the meeting. Please note that this arrangement does not include International organisations whose rooms are booked but not paid for. Registration The participants are invited to be at the entrance to the Conference Room Kastrum of the Hotel Istra at 08h30 on 25 September in order to register for the Seminar. Since the Seminar will start with opening speeches by the host country at 09h00, please make sure that you are at the Conference room on time. Those participants arriving to Brijuni on 25 September can register and enter the Conference room upon their arrival. Badges will be prepared and distributed to the participants during the registration. Meals Please note that the Croatian authorities will offer lunches and dinners on 25 and 26 May 2018 (all will be served at Restaurant in Hotel Istra). Dinner on 24 September 2018 will also be offered by the Croatian organisers. Per diem allowances for the CAHROM members, international NGOs and ad-hoc speakers will be decreased due to accommodation and meals covered by the organisers and will be reimbursed by the Council of Europe via the bank transfer after the Seminar. 1 Travel Pre-paid tickets have been organised for the CAHROM members, international NGOs and ad-hoc speakers. Those who bought additional train or bus tickets are requested to bring them to the meeting together with the invoices in order to be reimbursed via the bank transfer after the Seminar. Airport transfer and taxi services Local transport for all participants will be organised from the Pula airport to Fazana port (where a ferry to Brijuni islands is to be taken) on 24 September and 25 September 2018 as per flights arrivals (a table with names will be sent out shortly). The return on 26 September afternoon will be organised in two parts – one shuttle for those leaving from Pula airport and another for those leaving from Zagreb airport (a table with names and timings will be sent to those concerned as per their flight schedule) – both shuttle buses will leave from Fazana port after the meeting. Parking For participants arriving by car, a safe parking is provided by the National Park Brijuni. It is situated at Ulica boraca 9, 52212 Fažana and its cost is 90 HRK per day (red square). Prior to embarking the ferry, you need to register at the office of the National Park Brijuni, Brionska ulica 10, 52212 Fažana (red triangle), in order to confirm your place on the ferry (red circle). All registered participants of the Seminar are entitled to a free ferry transport. There is no password for the documents, however, if a dialogue box opens up asking for a password, click on “yes” or “ok” and document will open in another window. If you have issues opening documents by using Internet Explorer, try Mozilla Firefox instead. Please print them and bring them with you, we will not be able to do printing in the hotel.
