The second annual Celebrating Women luncheon will be held Saturday, October 21 at The Kemp at The Forum beginning at 11:30 am. The featured speaker will be Emmy-winning Samantha Harris. Most of you may know Samantha Harris from her eight seasons as the co-host of ABC’s hit show, Dancing With the Stars or her many years as one of the hosts of Entertainment Tonight. Samantha is also a breast cancer survivor. In 2014, Samantha was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and after three surgeries is now cancer-free. Out of the emotional turmoil of her diagnosis, Samantha and her husband, Michael, founded Gotta Make Lemonade to help inspire positivity in the face of adversity. At Celebrating Women, we will truly celebrate women – their strength, tenacity and resiliency – as Samantha shares stories of women who faced great adversities, but found the power of pushing through any challenge in life to turn it into something better.
