The win may propel Singh to Player of the Year honors although an argument can be made for Phil Mickelson who finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th in the 2004 majors. Although it looked like Ernie Els (-7) had a chance to overtake Tiger Woods (-2), Woods retains his Number 1 ranking. Top 10 Finishers 1.
