"The Architectural image of Siberian city” Institute of Architecture and Design of the Industrial University of Tyumen invites high- achieving Bachelor/Master students specializing in Architecture and Design to take part in the International Summer School "Architectural image of the Siberian city" in Tyumen (September 3 - 17, 2018). We can offer you an unusual program: -You will attend a specially designed English- language workshop in which you actualize your ideas as a future architect or designer - There, they conduct an analysis of the architectural space of the city of Tyumen, under the direction of a well-known Russian architect - At the end, you will present your visions of a rehabilitation of individual neighborhoods - You will receive a basic knowledge of Russian by the practice-oriented Russian lessons. You can always test your new knowledge on the spot ( in the café, shopping center, etc.) Our cultural and leisure program is impressive: - Visits to the old Russian cities such as Tobolsk and Yalutorovsk. - The City of Tobolsk: the Tobolsk Kremlin, the Mendeleev Museum, the House of Masters, the place of the remains of the last Russian Tsar Nicholas II - The City of Yalutorovsk: The houses of the decembrists exiled to Siberia, the Yalutorovský Fortress, the exhibition: "In the footsteps of past eras" - The Abalaksky Men's Monastery - The Rasputin Museum in the Pokrovsky settlement - Relax at the hot springs of Tyumen! On this journey into the past, you will explore a place where the 19th century Decembrists of the Russian czars were banished.
